Hello, Wonderful Breaker Rock Beach Parents!
Yesterday, we learned that truth comes from God. Today, we're diving deeper to learn that the Bible is God's special book for us. It's like a perfect guidebook for life!
The world often tells us to "do what makes you happy" or "follow your heart." But the Bible shows us that God's plan is always the best, even when it's not the easiest choice. We'll be looking at a story about Daniel, who chose to follow God's way even when others didn't. This shows us that real happiness comes from living by God's wise plan. He helps us through hard things.
VBS Fundraiser & Offering: This year, your child's offerings at VBS will directly help our missionaries! They are getting ready to travel to Guatemala this summer to serve children and families there, sharing Jesus's love and good news and bringing them helpful items such and clothes and books! There is a contest for the crew that brings in the biggest offering they will get a double vote for which leaders get pies thrown in their faces! It is a fun time for all!
Home Connection Points:
Trust God's plan: Just like we trust a map to get where we're going, we can fully trust God's Word to lead us. Talk with your child about a time you trusted God, even when it was hard.
Read together: Read a simple Bible story with your child. Help them see that the Bible isn't just an old book; it's God's living message to us.
