Hello, Wonderful Breaker Rock Beach Parents!

Today is a big day! We're learning a central truth: Jesus Is God.

Jesus wasn't just a good teacher or a prophet; He is God who came to earth as a human. He said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." This means Jesus is the only way to truly know God. We'll explore why we can believe Jesus's amazing claims, looking at how His life changed history and the people around Him.

Keep the VBS Spirit Going! We invite you to attend church with us throughout the summer to see if Northview is the right fit for your family! We have special Summer Sundays where we highlight different programs in our church, with fun fellowship, snacks, and opportunities to connect.

Our Sunday morning Children's Ministry offers:

  • Large Group: At 8:30 AM for Preschool through 5th Grade.

  • Second Hour: Two groups for deeper learning – Preschool through 2nd Grade, and 3rd through 5th Grade. On Sundays, we go through the entire Bible over about three years, from the Old Testament to the New Testament, always focusing on the good news of Jesus being the main thread throughout!

Mark your calendars! Our Wednesday night program, EPIC, starts in the fall. This is for Kindergarten through 5th Grade and focuses on why we believe what we believe. We learn Bible lessons and memorize Bible verses together through songs. We have fun through games, activities and crafts. Kids get to earn prizes and we love to partner with parents as they are the main leads in their home.
Also, in the fall, we will be offering parent support classes to help equip and encourage you in your important role!  More details this fall!

 

Home Connection Points:

  • Discuss Jesus: Talk with your child about who Jesus is. You can ask, "What did you learn about Jesus today?" Emphasize that Jesus is God's Son and the only one who can bring us closer to God.

  • Share your faith: If you believe in Jesus, share simply why you believe He is God and your Savior.
