Getting Ready for Breaker Rock Beach VBS!
Welcome, Wonderful Breaker Rock Beach Parents!
We are so excited your child is joining us for VBS this week! Our theme, "Breaker Rock Beach," is all about discovering how God's truths are like a strong, steady rock that we can always count on, no matter what.
Important Information for Monday Evening Drop-Off: 6:15 PM
We can't wait to welcome your children for their first day of VBS tomorrow! Here's what you need to know for drop-off:
Enter our main doors.
Look for your family packet. This will have important information for the week (including the map!).
Check in your child at the Check-In Stations. At check-in, your child will receive their sticker name tag that they will put on their hanging tag, after they get seated.
Children will be escorted to their seat by a leader: One of our wonderful VBS leaders will then escort your child to the Worship Center and help them find their crew.
Picking Up Your Child: At 8:30 PM, when VBS officially ends, your children will be back in their crew rooms. On the back of your parent card that you get at check in on the first night, it will show the map of how to find their crew room. Please be sure to have your pick-up tag that matches your child's number on their name tag.
Parent Tips:
Take a picture of your pick-up code! You can text it to your spouse, family member, or friend who will be picking up your child, making pick-up smooth and easy for everyone.
Take a picture of the map to help you find your way.
Let your child know what they can expect: their snack, who is picking them up etc.
Send your kids wearing shoes they can safely run in for game time.
Important VBS Snack Information
We're so excited for your child to join us at Vacation Bible School! We wanted to let you know about our snack policy during VBS.
We will be providing water along with the following snacks for all children:
Monday: Lay's Potato Chips
Tuesday: Oreo Cookies (Gluten-free Oreos will also be available)
Wednesday: Fruit Snacks
Thursday: Pretzels (Gluten-free pretzels will also be available)
Friday: Chips Ahoy Chocolate Chip Cookies (Gluten-free Chips Ahoy will be optional)
If your child has specific dietary needs or preferences beyond what we are offering, you are welcome to send an alternative snack with them.
Please ensure any snacks you send are in a clearly labeled Ziploc bag. Your child can give this bag to their crew leader each day.
For the safety of all our campers, please ensure that any snacks you send are completely NUT-FREE. We may have children with severe nut allergies, and we want to create a safe environment for everyone.
Your child will be able to enjoy the snack you send with them during our designated snack time.

Introducing the Lighthouse Lounge!
We're thrilled to announce a brand-new space just for our incredible Breaker Rock Beach parents: The Lighthouse Lounge!
We know VBS can be a busy time, and we wanted to create a special spot where you can take a breather, connect with other parents, or even get some work done.
Think of the Lighthouse Lounge as a parent's haven. It's a comfortable place to:
Connect with other VBS parents and share experiences.
Catch up on work or reading in a quiet spot.
Meet our amazing Lighthouse Lounge hosts and ask any questions you have or just chat.
Work on a project to bless others or get creative with some fun crafts—all supplies are provided for you!
See the action live! We'll be live-streaming the large group worship rally and skits so you can see what your kids are experiencing in real-time.
The Lighthouse Lounge is located in our Conference Room, to the left of our main entrance, and will be open during all VBS hours. We can't wait to welcome you!
Important Security Information for the Lighthouse Lounge
For the safety and security of everyone, we have a couple of important guidelines for using the Lighthouse Lounge:
Sign-In/Sign-Out: Please sign in and out each time you use the space. This helps us keep an accurate count of everyone in the building.
Stay in the Lounge: As per our VBS protocols, please remain in the Lighthouse Lounge area during VBS hours. There are restrooms conveniently located right outside the Lounge for your use.
Child Pickup: To ensure a smooth dismissal for all children, we ask that you wait until VBS officially ends before picking up your child. This allows all kids to get to their crew rooms before leaders begin dismissal.
