Day 3: Wednesday, January 8
Abide – John 15:1-5
In John 15, Jesus describes Himself as the vine and us as the branches, calling us to abide in Him. “Apart from me, you can do nothing,” He says, reminding us that true growth and fruitfulness come from staying connected to Him.
Abiding is more than a quick prayer or weekly worship—it’s a daily, ongoing relationship with Jesus. It means trusting Him, listening to His Word, and allowing Him to work in every part of your life. When you abide, you experience His peace and bear fruit that reflects His love and purpose.
Are you staying connected to Jesus, or have distractions pulled you away? Today, focus on abiding in Him through intentional prayer, scripture reading, and surrender. Let His presence refresh and strengthen you.
Application Point: Take 10 minutes today to be silent and “listen” in prayer. Read John 15, pray, or sit quietly in His presence, allowing Him to fill and renew you.
